Welcome to GreekHours. By using our mobile application and services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using GreekHours, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

GreekHours is a study hours tracking application designed for members of Greek organizations. The app allows users to:

• Check in and out at approved study locations
• Track study hours toward chapter requirements
• View progress and history
• Enable chapter administrators to monitor member compliance

3. Eligibility

To use GreekHours, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a current student at an accredited college or university
• Be a member of a Greek organization that uses GreekHours
• Have a valid university email address or authorized account

4. Account Registration

You must create an account to use GreekHours. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Falsify your location or attempt to check in from unauthorized locations
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to manipulate or falsify study hours records
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated systems or bots with the service

6. Location Services

GreekHours requires location access to verify study sessions. By using the app, you consent to:

• The collection of your precise location when checking in/out
• Verification of your presence at approved study locations
• Storage of location data as part of your study session records

Location data is only collected when you actively use the check-in feature, not in the background.

7. Chapter Administrator Access

By using GreekHours through your chapter, you acknowledge that chapter administrators may:

• View your study hours and progress
• Access your check-in history and locations
• Adjust your hour requirements
• Remove your access to the chapter

8. Data Accuracy

While we strive to accurately record your study hours, you are responsible for:

• Verifying your hours are recorded correctly
• Reporting any discrepancies promptly
• Ensuring you check out when leaving a study location

We are not responsible for hours lost due to failure to check out or technical issues.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Are removed from your chapter
• No longer meet eligibility requirements

You may also delete your account at any time by contacting support.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

GreekHours is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GreekHours and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
